In the land of Robin Hood it's now the turn for afmcites to get their act together. So join the Nottingham members in an exhilarating, fun packed weekend. The chosen theme is Down Memory Lane around the setting of Nottingham University and Wollaton Park/ Castle.

Dates
23rd to 25th August 2k3. (During the August Bank holiday weekend)
Provisional Programme -Saturday 23rd

Arrivals/Buffet lunch 1pm onwards at the Inn Keepers Lodge

Flexible Afternoon activity locally with option to stay at the lodge / walk around Wollaton Park or play golf/ tennis/ swimming – another option is to visit Newstead Abbey, the home of Lord Byron.)

Cocktails/Garden Party with music, magic and lots of surprises- 6.30pm onwards at Virendra Srivastava’s residence, Nottingham. (A coach has been laid out to take those guests who may not wish to drive up to Virendra’s place for the evening.)

Getting There

By Road
From the M1, exit at Junction 25 and take the A53 towards Nottingham following signs for Wollaton Park. At the third roundabout turn left into Wollatin Vale and the lodge is located immediately on the right hand side.

By Rail and Air
Just off the A6005, less than a mile and a half is Beeston Station, with only a ten minute connetion to Nottingham. East Midlands Airport is just ten miles South along M1, just off the A453 via Junction 24.

Costs
  • Accommodation with continental breakfast with double bed/2 single beds + facility for camp bed is £50/night/room
  • LEISURE ACTIVITIES AND CATERING FOR FOOD
    Sat-Monday morning £65 per adult/ £40 for under twelve’s
    Attending Sunday only £ 40 per adult/ £25 for under twelve’s
